Homemade Butter

Today for J-Man's kindergarten lesson (talking about cows), we made homemade butter! Just put a pint of heavy whipping cream in a mason jar and shake for about 20 minutes. We all took turns. It turned out yummy!

  1. Fun, fun. I remember doing that with preschool.

  2. Add sugar and vanilla and make ice cream the same way. You can make individual servings by putting the ingredients in a plastic ziplock bag, then put that bag into a bigger ziplock bag filled with ice and salt. Shake, dance, toss the bag for 15 minutes and voila', ice cream.

Love to hear about your home schooling! Be blessed.
